Emergency Services
We are now able to offer our clients an improved EMERGENCY SERVICE.
Our emergency out of hours cover is provided by VETS NOW c/o PDSA Petaid Hospital, Campus Way, Hempstead ME5 OLL.
It became impossible for our vets to maintain the burden of working all day and potentially all night, every day. We felt this has a negative impact on the standard of care received out of normal working hours and as such arranged for VETSNOW to take over all our out of hours emergency cover thus improving our service to you.
What this means is that your pet will be seen by fully trained vets and nurses who only work in the emergency clinic- they will not have already done a full day shift and will be fresh and alert and ready to treat your pet. All the staff are fully qualified and have received extra training in emergency and critical care. They regularly attend courses to make sure they remain up to date.
Will we continue to provide cover from 8.00am to 6.30pm- Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings upto 12pm.
If you require assistance outside of these hours then please phone our surgery on the normal number 01474 352793, you will hear a message giving you the emergency number for the VetsNow clinic. You are welcome to phone them for any advice you might need and they will advise you if your pet needs to be seen. You are unable to just turn up at the clinic- you must phone them first.
Payment should be made for any services provided to the VetsNow clinic at the time of treatment. As with the current system out of hours charges will apply.

From Gravesend take A2/M2 to Dover
Exit at junction 4 ( signed A278 Gillingham )
At the 2nd roundabout take first exit( left )
(sign posted Gillingham Business park )
After 50 yds take 2nd exit ( right ) - Ambley Rd
After 400 yds take 1st exit ( left ) - Bailey Drive
After 100 yds take 1st exit ( left ) - Campus Way
Vets Now hospital is 50 yds in front of you
This journey should take no more than about 20 minutes
